Coming Home To Presence & Embracing Our Humanity

November 13–15, 2026 • Cullman, Alabama

“This Presence is so immense, yet so humble, awe-inspiring, yet so gentle, limitless yet so intimate, … Everything in my life is transparent in this Presence. This Presence is healing, strengthening, non-judgmental, and boundless in compassion. It is like coming home to a place I should never have left, to an awareness that was somehow always there but which I did not recognize.”

–Thomas Keating, Open Mind, Open Heart

In this retreat, time and space will be provided for connecting with this immense, awe-inspiring, life-giving Presence. Included will be opportunities for silence and solitude, reflection and journaling, and sharing in community using the Circle of Trust approach developed by Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage and Renewal. We will also be exploring and embracing our humanity through the lens of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy model developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz; a model which welcomes all parts of us in relationship to the Divine Presence within us.
